SUMMARY
ELEMIS is seeking a current student pursuing a major in business, supply chain or related field to join us as an Operations intern. The intern should demonstrate knowledge of order to delivery, logistics, distribution, and/or supply chain principles.
The intern will gain general knowledge in various aspects of supply chain and logistics through hands-on experience and being responsible of select projects. The ideal candidate must be able to commit up to 20 hours/week.
A successful candidate will be able to work independently as well as within a team environment. This is an opportunity for someone who is proactive and driven to learn in a growing luxury skincare brand.
Please note that this role will be fully in-person for 20 hours/week. Pay will be $19/hour for Bachelor's students/grads, and $21/hour for Master's students/grads.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Accountabilities:
Assists with and completes projects that contribute to the strategic goals of the Supply Chain team.
Responsible for tracking incoming shipments/components to US warehouse.
Understanding the full scope of the US kitting process i.e.: coordinating assembly with warehouse production department, moving components systematically and ensuring finished goods are completed.
Work effectively in a team setting to collaborate, develop strategy and problem-solve
Utilize various tools and resources to analyze information and make recommendations to support the business
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
SUSTAINABILITY RESPONSIBILITY
Ensure all duties carried out and actions completed in every aspect of your role, contribute to the short and long-term Sustainability Goals set-forth by the ELEMIS - Climate, Biodiversity & People Pillars
QUALIFICATIONS AND CHARACTERISTICS
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets is required.
Planning and organization skills with the ability to manage multiple duties simultaneously.
Proven ability to quickly adapt and drive the right results using data
Highest levels of integrity and ethics
