JOB SUMMARY:

The CRM Intern will be playing a strategic dual role. She/he will be responsible for helping to coordinate and execute the day-to-day retention marketing planning and execution. She/he will also be supporting day-to-day activities for the relational email journey, direct mail channel and marketing SMS, and the end-to-end development & implementation of campaigns for North America.

This is an incredible opportunity to join a dynamic team that drives e-commerce & retail growth as well as customer retention, through the development of impactful & innovative campaigns.  The role entails creating and executing direct mail, relational email and marketing SMS campaigns and promotional plans for North America. Assist with executing our retention marketing strategy targeted to ultimately drive up bottom-line engagement. (Including, email, sms, clientele, and direct mail).

The ideal candidate is creative with exceptional multi-tasking, project & time management, technical and analytical skills, and ability to analyze and report on key marketing metrics that lead to growth opportunities.

 

JOB RESPONSABILITIES

RELATIONAL & RETAIL/OUTLET EMAIL

  • Work with the team to develop and implement email marketing strategies
  • Assist in the creation of monthly reports using different web analytics tools and provide insight/recommendations
  • Learn all about a variety of email marketing activities including, but not limited to, email campaign set-up, scheduling, testing, tagging and deployment of one-time, recurring, triggered and dynamic content-driven campaigns
  • Perform Q/A for outgoing campaigns
  • Undertaking studies on competitor research and consumer behavior

SMS

  • Collaborate on calendar detailing campaigns and communications to support ecommerce and drive to store
  • Drafting proposals (customer acquisition / loyalty) for weekly and monthly sends
  • Assisting in preparing and presenting campaign results
  • Undertaking studies on competitor research and consumer behavior

 

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

  • Accuracy & relevancy of marketing campaign and project output
  • Contribution in creating customer journey /life cycle marketing strategy
  • Customer database retention
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills – digest data, identify trends, and pursue the right questions to take action

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

EDUCATION

  • BA / BSC in Marketing required / Masters preferred

 

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

  • BA / BSC required
  • A solid mix of analytical and creative skills
  • Must be proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint
  • Should be a self-starter/autonomous, able to multi-task/project management, work under pressure and prioritize
  • Performance driven with strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of ESP software and/or SMS provider preferred. (E.g., Attentive, Blaze, Wunderkind, Responsys, Adobe Campaign, ExactTarget, or Silver Pop, Salesforce)
  • Customer loyalty/customer first approach

 

PHYSICAL & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to work in normal office conditions
  • Must be able to work 20-28 hours per week
  • Internship from June to August
