Job Summary

As the Technical Data Product Owner, you will represent the Global Data organization in North America, ensuring our regional data ecosystem is visible, consistent, and aligned with global standards. You will lead the local execution of global data initiatives, bridging business needs and technical solutions to deliver clarity, long-term value, and sustainable data practices.

Job Responsibilities

  • Map and maintain the North America data ecosystem (including CRM, PIM, Knime, Automate 11), identifying gaps and risks.
  • Lead the local rollout and adoption of global customer referential initiatives.
  • Act as the main contact for Product Information Management (PIM) and master/reference data consistency across systems.
  • Analyze and improve customer deduplication logic and data flows to enhance data quality.
  • Partner with BI/RGM teams to promote standardized, reusable data practices.
  • Translate business needs into clear data requirements and align with global solutions.
  • Provide visibility into the data landscape and identify opportunities for simplification.
  • Ensure all local data activities align with global data architecture, governance, and integration standards.
  • Facilitate collaboration between business, analytics, and global data teams.

Key performance indicators (KPIs)

  • Successful and timely rollout of global data initiatives in North America.
  • Measurable reduction in data inconsistencies and duplicates.
  • Stakeholder satisfaction with data visibility and reporting.
  • Increased adoption of standardized data practices.
  • Compliance with global data governance and integration standards.
 

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Experience & Skills

  • Experience in data, analytics, or data integration roles within complex environments.
  • Strong understanding of data flows, ecosystems, and integration patterns.
  • Hands-on ability to query and analyze data using SQL and/or scripting.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Snowflake, Power BI, DBT, Knime, and Fivetran.
  • Knowledge of master data concepts (customer, PIM, referentials) and data quality practices.
  • Experience working in global or matrix organizations.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify technical topics for diverse audiences.
  • Pragmatic, ownership-driven, and focused on scalable, sustainable solutions.           
The compensation for this role ranges from $110,000 - $120,000 (based on skills, experience and geographical location).
